RAT Gift exchange DRAWING 11/10/07
#1
Greetings!

An idea has struck me, no pain! LOL

Christmas or the Holiday season, whatever, is approaching. Is there any interest in doing a gift exchange for RAT members?? Basically this, interested people put in their names, then the names are drawn from a hat. Each person will get someones name. That person contacts the name thay have "drawn" to get an address and post out a goodie! Nothing extravagant mind you, but I know I have a few things I can make, or extras, laying around......Anybody???

That would actually be reallly fun. Set a fairly low money limit...or an equivalent in US dollars or something. Might be a good, fun thing to do!

Great idea, but the shipping fees can kill it.
But I agree! (Not very expensive, please)

I think this is a great Idea, but as someone said before, international shipping rates will kill it. Even more when we will do it low-budget, shipping could be very worse, according to the value of the present itself.

I'm in. Maybe to defeat the shippers, keep the names in separate shores together?

Great idea, although I would understand if the cost of shipping something out to Dubai might be a problem.

Felix, it sounds like a good reason to recruit more RAT members there, don't you think?

Should we send addresses to the moderator on RAT, so as to keep the surprise element intact? Then nobody would know who sent things until afterwards. The moderator could then notify the giver of the address info for the recipient.

Just a thought.

A moderator can do it, or I will. Either way.
