PhD's are often awarded based on 'un-published' books, vz. books without ISBN that are printed in very small numbers, just several dozens or a 100-200 at most. This book on Amazon is probably the trade edition.

Just ordered the book. VLM verlag mailed me to say that they recieved the book from the printer's office today and that they will start shipping the book on monday (17 dec).
