You didn't answer the why. Even if you don't post, it's easier to keep track of what's going on with an account. Got bored with Rome?

Hi Josef,
No offense taken. This is, frankly, a known problem and we are thinking about a solution. It's not easy when all levels of experience interact. That is, also, probably the best way to learn more. Ask and ask again.
But I'm open to suggestions as to how the beginner's experience could be improved.

(and I'll gladly read your replies once I get back from Spain in two days)

interesting point! But you can always ask the administrators for help, using the PM function.
I am sure you can be deleted, but at the cost, you'll have to pay double what you are paying to be a member, you know?

2 times 0 is still 0 so it probably won't hurt your wallet.

We won't keep you a member if you don't want to be, but the more we understand what you don't like, the better chance we have of improving.

I hope that we can answer your questions!
I know that the difficulties are greater when English is not your first language, as well! I have horrible time understanding on the Italian forums, and it gets confusing. I do appreciate all the people who actually use English here when it is not their first language. (That includes Jasper!) ((Although Jasper speaks better English than I do!))

Thanks to RAT I have learned a lot (both Roman lore and English), improved my equipment, made new friends, received postal gifts from Ohio and traveled to Archeon 2 times (my best holidays ever!), so I'd say the balance is incredibly positive!
It doesn't matter what knowledge you possess as long as it can be shared over this network opening our minds.
