In the 1960s, the Romanians made several movies on the Dacian wars (the first one was "Dacii", followed by "Burebista", "Columna lui Trajan/Der Tyrann" with Richard Johnson and others). While I have seen some of them, I never watched the first one, "Dacii" from 1966, because it hardly ever was available. For all Germans, it stars famous "Winnetou" Pierre Brice as a Dacian fighting for the Romans, plus peplum regular Georges Marshal, and it's also one of only two depictions of Domitian on film, to my knowledge (Columna lui Trajan from 1968 is the only film that depicts Trajan, if I'm not wrong).
Thanks to YouTube, somebody made several Dacii clips available now. Fun stuff. Always amazing to see how they recruited what seems like the entire Romanian army as extras. The same costumes were also used for the other Dacian films as well as the German/Yugoslavian/Romanian co-production "Kampf um Rom" (based on the Felix Dahn novel) in 1968, which was filmed in Romania as well and starred Orson Welles and Laurence Harvey.

Now I got it. Don't do games, but heard of it (plus there are about three zillion clips from it on Youtube).
Amazing that the extras in those Romanian flicks aren't CGI, though...
