Am I the only one who sometimes feels an urge to reply to an article and discuss it? For instance, today there's an interesting piece on a Roman find in Copenhaven, and a lovely piece -written for fundraising- about Numa Pompilius. Both are crying for comments.

I know that (a) I can copy the article to another thread, but that's impractical, although I have done so at times; (b) the moderators switched off the comments because -they said- "commenting is like talking to your TV". I beg to differ: it's an opportunity to discuss the latest news.

And what's wrong with talking to your tv?

Good point though, Jona!
