Absolutely awesome, the best depiction of classical Greek cavalry I have seen. I've tried myself to make some preliminary sketches for a scene fairly similar myself (although it was to be some hoplite being ridden down), but I will just give up now!

Love the work, but it seems one of the horses hooves looks out of joint? From our POV, the horse's front right hoof.

Fabulous picture, Johnny, although IRR the story is that the Thracians were able to hold off the Theban cavalry by using their usual skirmishing tactics - which would be much harder to depict
