Helmet padding?

Not sure if this has been discussed before but i would like some advice/instructions on what's best to use for padding a helmet bowl and cheekguards, (Imperial Gallic G). Also what type of glue or adhesive would be best to use. Thanks in advance.

Well, every time I use it, it just lists all the poststhat are on the forum, regardless of the search criteria......so enlighten us o' wise one! :wink:

:lol: It is often best to try to use more than one search term and select the option 'Search for all terms'. This way you'll only find threads that contain all of your search terms. If you type in 'helmet padding' you find quite a few posts not specific about the subject but you can pick out the right threads. Most are titled: 'helmet padding'-'arming cap'-'helmet liner'-best glue to glue in a helmet liner' etc...


Sometimes a search appears to have no results but then you just have to try a few more times. Often it suddenly works...

Jef, i want to thank you for the links. Sorry if my question annoyed you.

I had the same results as Gaius Julius Caesar, and being relatively new to RAT, i thought it would okay to post my question here. I'll try to be more careful in the future.

No problem! It is not so that each subject can only be discussed once, but if you want to discuss a subject further it's often better to revive an old thread. This way the information is more concentrated and it makes researching a particular subject on RAT a lot easier.
