Regarding the strands on the brooch- are they long plaited wires or individual links ?

Looks like plaite wire, but I could be wrong, I am no jeweler..... Smile

Memmia the wire is oval rings that are bent in the centre, then another 2 rings is put through this is what keeps it tight. It is hard to explain without a blowen up diagram or model .When I get up to the work shop I will do a enlarged version and send it to you Big Grin
