I was just sitting here touching up the paint on the columns. I did end up using a brighter gold for the details. It seems to help a bit. The Ivory colored paint shows up very white when I use the flash. I haven't seen any evidence that they ever used Ivory for the columns, but I like the look. After seeing the photo you sent to me of the lararium in the "House of the Gilded Cupids" I wish I had gone with the simpler Doric syle capitals. I guess the Ionic ones are good enough, but I'd do them a little differently next time. Living is learning :wink:

Just received an incense burner made by Julia Passamonti (Venetican Cat studio). A very nice addition to the lararium. I also added a oillamp from Armamentaria.
