What are some good resources to find out about the specific units that Belisarius used in his various campaigns?
And if anyone knows, specificially, what units did he use in his reconquest of the West? I've heard of the Leones Clibanarii being used, but what other forces? Were any legions used and if so, what ones?
I'm looking to start up a new reenactment group and I'd like to be able to portray some of the units that were used in the reconquest of the West, specifically a legion, auxilia and a cavalry unit. So any help would be appreciated.
