Hi Phil !!
I have some considerable experience in writing both articles and books on ancient military subjects, especially Roman, and would be most interested in doing more - I also have a friend who is an excellent illustrator ( though now semi-retired), who might be willing to assist !!
Please, see my introductory post on this thread - perhaps we should get in touch privately, rather than use this thread ???
