OK! But please please decide before that! In February, I want to have all the financial dealings over - by the end of February.
If I Germanica does not want to do the muti-period show but instead the Galla Placidia court or something different - that's fine! I just need to hear about it as early as possible, because I have had questions from other groups about which shows they can or cannot do.
About the dvd - I'll send you an email.

To all the groups - urgent answers required!
I'll send this message through the LRE forum, through RAT and by email, so you might be receiving this more than once:
Archeon has today changed the dates for our Late Roman event to the weekend of August 4 and 5, that's one week later than we had planned.
I NEED TO KNOW IF THERE ARE GROUPS THAT CANNOT MAKE THAT DATE!!
Please answer me as quick as you can, I can still react tomorrow towards Archeon.
Regards,
Robert

UUUUuuuuh, thats bad news. hock:
I just made some calls. If the date is changed to 4/5 August some of our members (my sister and Tobias Gabrys) have to stay behind. They both have definitly no time at this weekend.
Why do they change the date?

Ok!!!!
Legio I Germanica if can comes.., we do only late roman ( Placidia, etc..).
I speak with all the group and I will say you something in a few time. The dates are not a problem, for which these dates are our personal holidays and we haven't said at all in our works. But, it is true, is complicated a bit because our group already had marked this date.
Calm RObert!

I'm still going to push for the original date, so for me there's nothing settled yet. The reason I was given had something to do with school holidays (strange, because a later event pushes us back to the last week of some regions), and that there were some extra events (which does not mean we have to be pushed around).

I'll be calm when I heard that most groups can still come!

Is planned Great Roman Festival with Legio II Augusta this year Robert?
Last year it was after LRE. For our "Vandal" group there will be no problem to come this later date, of course if they want us to come. If there is GRF after LRE, we would like to stay with early Roman version of our presentation. What do you think?

Tobias,
I have sad news. Archeon will not budge. The new dates stand.
That means
arrivals on thursday August 2nd,
first try-out on friday August 3rd,
shows for real on saturday and sunday August 4th and 5th,
departures on monday August 6th.
But there is more, which I will talk about on the LRE forum only.

Sorry to hear that Robert - it must be frustrating !
I think John Conyard is in touch with you, isn't he.
