Greek YMHTTOS: mountain east of Athens. Once famous for its honey.
Shots taken near the Kessariani monastery - in some hellenistic - roman ruins. Event was covered by "DownTown" magazine. We had a good chance to test a few things. Kind regards

One of these helmets is very nice Stefane. What is it made of and from what source?

If you talk about the "bodyguard's" helmet-he deeply regrets that he bought a cast moulded one. If you try to get a "hammered metal sheet" one you might get "Australian costs" for "Non-Australian" work.
Kind regards

So...it's that heavy huh? A pity, because it's different from any deepeeka one and actually much better in shape. Could it be worked thinner?Remove matterial from the inside?
Do you know suplyer? Is it custom made from Greece? Khaire Giannis

Cast items are heavy -Period. Most reworking attempts will damage it according to all metallourgists I spoke to.
Is is up to an individual's pocket and reenacting does not attract rich fellows it seems. Kind regards

Hi Stefane. Some nice shots. I see another new helmet.

Actually it is hammered and we cannot trace the source.
Our recruit bought it in Monastiraki at a time where none would expect deveopments in reenacting in Greece. Damn! Kind regards

Haha! Monastiraki? It seems someone out there makes good helmets, and nobody knows him! A pity. It is far better than any of the deepeeka ones, and I bet he didn't buy it much more expensive...
