Show here your Roman soldier impression
I updated my Late Roman kit (IV century): new belt, new baldric (the buckle is not Roman, I'm looking for a IV century simple buckle, suggestions welcome), new calcei, and in particular new spatha.

Suggestions for improvements are welcome Smile

My impression of a lower ranking Centurion, of the Batavians.

Hmmm, rank has certain benefits....

Compared to being a rank and file...

Decorations come to the bling.....

I did a posing session for a promotion, and they took some extra photographs.

 Nice pics Robert.
Here are a couple from a normally 1st Cent group doing 4th Cent impression at a local museum.
We had to beg, borrow and make the rest of this kit, so our kit is meant to be "generic" more than specific.

Salvete Omnes! Here are couple of pics of my "light impression". I have tuned down the wing-like shoulders of my squamata, added edgings to the pteryges and dyed also my trousers. I also tried my speculative decorated cucullus. Wink

A couple there - the bearskin was genuine (apparently), very hot to wear and the 5km march for charity was also pretty warm..

Not quite but almost! You have the Mk1, which predates mine by 6 months. Mine has a double row of decorations and a smaller nasal.
