Its the so-called Imperial Gallic D from Mainz, made for me by Theo Andela and Simon Empt.
I'm not sure where the carpet came from, but I can assure you it cost less than the helmet :lol:

I made both. The harness proved to be a bit of a problem as I had one of the straps on backwards. :oops: I fixed it on the following day so we shouldn't any problems next time. The scutum cover is goatskin.

Right now I have two complete woolen tunica and one red longsleeved one that needs clavi et orbiculi. I plan on getting another linen one in white as well.

Yes; Armatura, Latin word to military equipment. Levis armatura to the light infantry men an gavis armatura or armati to talk about the heavy infantry men.
My question is have you an heavy military equipment? Mail, squamata ect...
