Quote:Warm enough?!?!
I basically hate marching when it's hot! But on a cool day it can be quite nice:
(I'm the guy on the right - the one with the rectangular scutum)
My new tunic (have it since summer 2005) is made from wool (herringbone), but the fabric is rather thin and breathable and is ok also for a warm day.

wow, it looks great!
Really nice Caesarean era impression. It's nice to see people doing a not-very-popular era to reenact. Nice bracae too!
-thanks for reading.

I feel almost embarrased to post my picture here.
It's not much...but given a 16-year old's wage, its a lot for me. Anyways I'm workin on my mid 3rd century soldier's costume. Legio II Parthica of course. Next step...linen leg wraps!!
Sean excellent work. I am currently in San Diego and am available if you need assistance with your kit.
Also Theo from Nocal is looking for other late romans who will attend this Julys Ft Mac Arthur Days. I won't be able to make it but I plan on making the October event. Let me know if you are interested in these events.
