I had a thought about the "Kalevala" a year or so back. It is a Finnish Epic much like Beowulf was for the Norse. There is a man in the Karelian Peninsula (I forget his name) that is still able to recite it in prose. I ask if there is anyone in Ancient Warfare or RAT that would record (video/audio) him reciting it in the traditional manner. He is very old and might have passed away already. I watched a documentary on it on PBS or BBC but can't remember what the name was. It is refereed to in another documentary "Lord of the Rings-The Fellowship of the Ring - Beyond the Movie". I would do it myself but I am broke and I cannot walk across the Atlantic. It would be a travesty to lose the chance to do something like this if possible. There are many people here that probably have the means or knowledge to make this happen.
Thanks!
