Had a little time this past Sunday, and I needed a new project to sooth a idle mind
With the guidance of CLANG Amoury I produced this helmet.
Don't lynch me since its not exactly Roman

Lock up your women, and your scrap metal!
For those interested the original of this helmet.
The helmet was found in Northern France, and dates to the 11th to 13th century. I know thats a large time frame, but this style of helmet was widely used in Europe, and for a very long timeframe.

I might take this experience and use it to build a late Roman helmet in a few weeks.

Well it is certainly the right track....just need to do plates and a frame work to rivet them to, plus a few other Roman extras and you will have one!
