May be not very clear, but:

Take away the lion's head and the intricate decoration, and this helmet by Antoni Feldon is pretty much it. It certainly looks based on it, anyway:
http://www.hetmanmilitaria.com/en/index.php?id=20 Instead of the peaked front decoration being separate, as usually seen on reconstructions of Attic helmets, it's raised from the bowl and follows the curvature. This includes the circular ends of the peak at the temples.

I will go through my photos taken at the museum in Naples this month, but I don't recall it being on display, but then after the 10th or so museum, I started getting burned out for my own memory.... It may take a few days to find the photos from that batch.

I reviewed the 670 photos I took at the museum in Naples, but there was no military equipment on display. I had also asked my guides about the military equipment specifically, but the guides told me none was on display and had not been on display in several years. (They did not know of any military equipment from Pompeii or Herculaneum.)

There are no military equipment from Pompeii and Heculaneum, just gladiator...I know something about a gladius that gave the name to a kind of gladius and some months ago I head something about "tela" used during the siege of Pompeii done by Sulla...but no mote
