Salve,
Probing diferents kinds of solders, i can hardly recommend to use silver solder instead of tin.
Tin is hardly more dificult to control, the piece have to be very clean and the fundent used sometimes burns and carbonizes and dificult the soldering. Tin often goes were you don't want, making little balls and spots.
Silver need more heat, and use borax, that it's cleaner, and easy to clean with water. The solder it's dramatically stronger than tin. Now i'm working in solder chains, and tin brokes easy...
If you want, i can put some pictures of the soldering proces.
