Well, I woke up this morning and looked out the window to the wonderful sight of snow. It's the only time London actually manages to look clean.

It's already gone as it was too warm. Looks like a cold snap for the week, with rain and slushy snow. More northern parts will get more snow, but it looks like nothing will last.

The storm last Thursday has struck Northrhine-Westfalia with a heavy blow.
The news say that approx. 25 million trees fell. In my hometown we had windspeed around 120 km/h. Many of the old trees around the main university building were smashed onto parking cars. It was great luck that noone in our region lost his life.
