thanks for your input,

a badly corroded Pugio blade was my first thought to, now I know its no wish full thinking of my Pugio weak brain

in the museum it is labeled as a " part of a sword " it has never been published, hock:

now they are searching the dig report under the dust for me, its a find in situ from 1990 so it will take some time, well I think in a fortnight I will have something more to tell,
