Robinson\'s Armour of Imperial Rome
#31
I suppose the trouble is that a prospective publisher needs to calculate how many people would buy a new edition. And that group gets less & less with the rising of its price. To recoup costs, the price would then have to go up even more, etc, getting into a spiral from which there is no escape.
An interesting comparison would be the sale of RME2. It was heavily advertised as a must-have here on RAT, where one would expect the hardcore fans to be. It was a reasonable price certainly at $40 for the paperback. How many were sold over the last 5 months it was available?
Greets!
