Miniatures Question
#16
Pendracken's 10mm Late Romans are stunning 8) and now wish they did some decent and a larger range of Barbarians to go with them.

Also try Foundry for all the periods in 28mm, Gripping Beast do some awesome Late Roman and early Dark Age stuff, Crusader make some very nice rank and file.

Miniart have produced Late Romans in plastic in 1/72nd scale and are worth looking at but many companies produce Romans try checking out The plastic Toy soldier review website for details and pictures.

Companies are now also producing Imperial Romans and Celts in hard plastic with multipose weapons, heads, etc in 28mm.

Essex 15mm are still very nice to paint and cover most periods.

The Warhammer Historical Late Roman Army book The Fall of the West and The Age of Arthur provide Warhammer army lists for the later stuff and are worth a look.

All the best,
Darren
