How many civilian groups are there?
#4
In the UK there are a number of groups where the civilian side of the group is not classed as a separate entity.

The civilian side of some of these military groups has almost in some cases tended to be the part of the group which attracts organisations like English Heritage etc to book the groups for living history events.

In some ways in the UK the element of 'battles' and 'fighting' by Roman groups has faded in preference of the 'whole picture'

The other difference over here is the emphasis on re-enacting life in the frontier provinces rather than that of a persona of Rome ( which If im not mistaken is the USA role? - tell me if im wrong !)

This is the one major difference on this 'Rome' oriented forum which I would as an individual like to see addressed - it should (in my opinion) be Roman Empire not 'Rome'

am I wrong?
