Sorry - I only just saw this.  There are actually three sheaths from Hod Hill in the BM, two of type 'A' and one type 'B'.  The reproduction you posted up is modelled on one of the two type 'A' sheaths and it it is definitely in the BM.  Anyone writing a book on pugios should have known that.

Thanks for your help and info. Maybe we should call you Mr Pugio?....As if you were not already. Will try t look into those 3 at the BM.
