Hi Folks,
This is a new fan-based event which celebrates the TV series, Spartacus. It is a combination of Sci Fi fantasy, weaponry demonstrations with some reenactment all thrown in together. Most of the Spartacus cast will be on hand for talks and demos, along with some other exciting things happening. It is a good opportunity to meet many of the cast members for those Spartacus fans. There will be a marketplace as well. It is being held at the Blue Crabs Baseball Stadium in Waldorf, MD which they will be turning into a gladiator arena. This is just about 40 minutes east and south of the DC area. They are also looking for reenactors who would like to set up displays and talk to the attendees. The website is http://www.redserpents.com. The date is August 15-16. There is a contact email on the website for anyone interested in setting a display up. We will be vending at the marketplace. It looks like fun. Hope to see some of you there.
