Reshaping a helmet?

Perhaps you could use a large woodpress/woodclamp used to glue furniture, one of those things with a part that slides? That is what I would use. I just had a look at my two Deepeeka helmets, but the browguards on those seem not to have been cast. Forging them is a lot simpler then casting them, so I presume they were made by forging.
