Iron age textiles- new Danish evidence
#3
Thnx for the links, but the colored and natural dyed clothes we know in Europe at least since bronze age. Look at my fotos on facebook from our celtic event in Frög, Austria - at my corner i have i mader dyed tunic, woven by Marled Mader from Germany and some other dyed textiles and clothes, too.
The foto of my items is here, too - on our HP (ALAUNI), Bedaius event in Seebruck, Germany and they are good colored with this mader-redtunic,too:

Textiles on our event in National museum of Sloveniae, Ljubljana:
http://www.alauni.at/gallery-event/2012....n/11.shtml (of mine)
http://www.alauni.at/gallery-event/2012....n/45.shtml - here the Suzi of Alauni has on the table a lot of natural materials for dyeing textiles.

I show you here in my topic the recos of tablet woven band from Hallstatt, nr. II - the colours are authentic because i look in two books about the Hallstatt's textiles and i wrote on dr. Karina Grömer, the Vienna Naturalhistory museum, textile research, if suggestions about this colour in the literature are correct - yes, they are ok, so i have authentical reconstruction of the tablet woven band made by natural dyed woll.
