Thank you so much for the information. Actually the archaeological info would be of interest (even if it is dated w/ a "Soviet" slant) so I may try a bit harder to locate a copy.
Though warfare is of interest the everday-life material culture, social structures, habitations, etc, etc. are of great interest. Actually I do have a copy of "The Spoils of War". I'll also have to look out for "Archäologie in der DDR".
