AD 43 The Roman Invasion of Britain - A Reassessment
#1
Picked this up in the BM today whilst I was in London tending to the needs of the military equipment corpus. It basically looks at the case for and against the Sussex/Kent invasion hypotheses - quite fairly I thought. Amazon are of course selling it more cheaply than the BM (unless you get hit by their new Bill-Gates-sized P&P charges - theregister.co.uk/content...708.html).
Do I hear the sound of Simon Scarrow's quill scratching away at alternative versions of his novels to satisfy the Sussex faction...?
