Your Favorite Roman?

Avete fraters,
I agree with those whose opinion is that we know lots of great Romans. My favourite Romans during Roman history are:
Kingdom period: Romulus the founder, Numa Pompilius and all of legendary Roman kings, besides Tarqinius Superbuss.
republican period: Scipio Africanus, Julius Caesar, Gaius Marius, Pompeius Magnus and the others.
principate period: Octavianus Augustus, Flavius Vespasianus, Titus, Traianus, Hadrianus and Marcus Aurelius (they were great emperors)
late empire period: my favourite emperor from this time is Julianus Apostata (great man for me).

I am also a great fan of all brave Romans (legionaries, politicians, emperors, consuls..) and of writers, of course (Livius, Tacitus, Suetonius, Vegetius etc.)I would like to say that I sympathize with thousants and thousants nameless legionaries and auxiliaries for us, who were in service in Roman army during the times of the great Rome. They were fighting for Rome for honour, glory and greatness :-) )
