Makes me think of an NHL short that came out a few years ago - I think going along with the strike way back when - They had Goalies who were looking for work...I remember one scene where a couple gets into a Taxi driven by a Goalie (wearing all the equipment) - eventually the guy says:
Hey, can you see OK out of that mask?
The goalie says: What mask??
