Did convicted criminals suffer death in British arena\'s ?

Is there any evidence that British 'criminals' were punished in home based arena's - or for that matter any religious zelots (Christian's included) ? Can one also assume that crucifixion was routinely employed in Britain ? Again, is there any evidence of this ? :?:
