Coolus E Helmet
#1
At the present time I have received a Coolus E helmet, I believe, with a third fastening ring on the neck guard and a dorsal plume that is divided fore and aft and is not threaded. I would like to know if this helmet is correct for a Coolus E helmet and is the helmet found in 46A.D. in Britain? Also I would like to know what size fastening thong is currently used be reenactors to fasten the helmet and its linking to all the helmet rings. Would this fastening thong have been used to carry the helmet by suspending it around the neck as I have seen on some illustrations? What size thong is thought to have been used by current reenactors?

Thank you for any help you can provide since this is admittedly a very obscure and remote topic.
