Here are two photos of the Dutch river area that no longer exists. In fact, they are not entirely off-topic, but first take a look:

I hope you can feel why I love this landscape. The Dutch do not have mountains or prairies or deserts, but our rivers have a beauty of their own too. Or used to have it, when it was a "small" landscape, with small meadows and fields, poplars, et cetera. This is a photo what it looks like now, number 3:
It was not entirely off-topic, as I said, because all these pictures were taken in the country of the ancient Batavians, and are all sites that have offered Roman finds.
