I suggest some kind of 'ferreting' name, which is kind of like engineering which reminds me of Vitruvius which (Vitruvius the Ferret) has a nice ring to it.
Or how about just something like Ferretius or Ferretinus perhaps with a Praenomen and Gens. Isn't there a family name Ferrens?
I always wanted to name a pet Sextus Julius Frontinus but my wife wouldn't let me - her rule of thumb is what would you be willing to yell from the doorway. So our cat 'Leonidas' gets Leo from most people! :lol:
