Seriously, I.P Stephenson argues that the Brigetio tombstone shows a possible legionary with a possible gorget throat defence. He also illustrates something very similar to the above armour found in a Thracian burial at Catalka in Bulgaria from the second century AD.

Wonderful, thanks Graham. Do you know which tombstone from Brigetio? The ones I can see don't have gorgets as far as I can tell.
