Hi,

My first post on this forum. First of all, happy new year!

I'm Geert Horvers, I live in Nimegen, the Netherlands and work in Amsterdam. I'm interested in Roman and ancient British history. I paint 25mm miniatures and plan to start an EIR army for WAB.

This activity (historical miniature wargames) and period are
relatively new for me. I've decided on WAB (because of the
availability of the rules) and 25mm (because I like to think I'm a
painter first and a gamer second). I've just started researching and
am currently reading Ceasar's The Conquest of Gaul. Next I'll be
looking for books on Boudica and Ancient Britains.

This looks like the best approach for me. It's an opportunity to
combine several interests. I'm partial to Romans ever since watching I
Claudius a long time back. I've read R.Graves books several times
over. British history interests me deeply as well. And My wife is
partial to Celts. Need I say more?

I look forward to reading your comments and suggestions.

Regards,
