The location dont have to be Kalkriese. Kalkriese is just obe possibility, connecting to the background of "2000s annual of the varian battle".
There are other possibilities, like the fights against the Batavians around Bonn, which would speech for the location Bonn, or the victory of Rigomagus, which would fit to location Remagen, or the fights around Vetera which would be Xanten, and also Augusta Treverorum, so Trier would be possibly with the background of 69 AD. So the 1940s annual of that (and by the way a lovly possibility to show german another point of roman-german history than Varus).
