Did anyone say 'mountain'?
This brings pleasant memories back to mind, of a battle 10 years into my first Julii campaign. It was featuring two Equites units who got ambushed on their way towards my main army, against three Greek Militia Cavalry armed with javelins. The map was rather hilly, but sneaking past the enemy cavalry, I gained a tremendous elevation bonus - the mountain was rather steep.
Each Militia Cavalry unit routed on impact as I charged my Equites on them.

some Swedish pancake in a purloined panoply lop their lower limbs off! - Paul Allen, Thespian
