In the Mediteranean 25 % percent of people have "fair" caracteristics as opposed to North Europe where 75 % of the people have them.
The Molossoi royal family (Olympias) had red hair according to many ancient source. The genetic make up of the remains found in Ioannina graves 30 years ago seems to confirm that. Same in the Thesprotia graves. The Argead Royal family (Philip) had "fair" caracteristics too. Alex had more likely "honey" coloured hair with a possible "redish" shade after exposure to the tropical sun. I do not agree with Mr. Mc Bride giving him "viking" looks.
