Wearing and Fit of the Lorica Hamata

I may have to shorten it a bit...the main shirt itself though does fit and wear comfortablely.

I guess I what I should have been a bit more clear on is the postioning of the doubler. I am guessiing that the back half of the leather lined doubler shoudl almost be up against the neck, with the two front flaps positioned either straight down or slightly angled in towards the sternum to insure that the heart and lung region is covered.

I am guessing that either one or two sets of the doubler buttons are acceptable and that this was designed to allow for sizing adjustments.

Is there a measurement or a positon that the doubler hooks should be be at?
