USPS service

Last year (3 december 2002) i bought a couple of books through ebay in the US. Unfortunatly, until today (19 may 2003) i still haven't got the stuff. The seller is reliable (has many positive notes on ebay). The seller has no idea what is wrong and she is trying to get some answers from USPS. She sent me a copy of her receipt of the package to me. The receipt says:<br>

- Econ M-bags/ books<br>
- Destination: Netherlands (this is correct)<br>
- weight: 40lb 5.00oz<br>
- Postage type: PVI<br>
- Total cost: 36.90<br>
- Base rate: 36.90<br>
- Customs label#: LC127300412US<br>

My question: has anybody an idea what may be the problem? Can i go to my post office (in the Netherlands) with this receipt? This whole thing has qost me a lot of money and i really, really want those books. I hope that somebody can help me here.<br>
