they do expect to find a roman camp in the Unstrut valley/Thuringia somewhere around Reiser slightly north of Mühlhausen/Thuringia.
They are in the process of re-routing the B247 highway there.
Literally hundreds of roman small finds have been made, amongst it a piece of samian ware from Lyon, datable to 10BC -- 10 AD as well as hundreds of
pieces of north-italian pottery and coinage from that area as well.
A roman camp in that area has been expected since about 20 years or so, I may add.
