Before there is any confusion. Here is the thing. I am not trying to be a cheapy at getting free developments.
1. But please see if say a pugio retails for about $300, I would be handing it out at about $150 here in India. So, when we talk about equipment of about $1500 worth, it would be really mean about $3000 worth
Shipping would be in addition about $500 per person.
2. Also, although I am a company, I cannot afford to pay 3-4 people visit (about $6000) and a week's development.
My idea is still there- lets make things better for the community. As I said, we can all save money if we have to- send me 3D files to print masters. And maybe we can do it offline, as we have done in the past.
Adrian has done this in the past- come to India- spend a week here- we recreated about 15 helmets during the time. Things can be done- if we really want to do things.
If you are willing to spend this 1200-1500 dollars, and get merchandise worth $3000, and the best out there, I dont know why we are having this debate.
Plus, there is no compulsion on anyone to participate. Offline feedback is always welcome as has always been. Its just faster and easier to be on the spot doing things.
