Hacked the units years ago to test various theories, like whether the velites could fall back through the hastati easily (yes, they could), change the spacing amongst the ranks which resulted in different actions by the individual legionaries, and reorganised the Principes as theorised by Lendon. You can do a lot with RTW if you're willing to spend some time on the text files (but make sure you backup the originals). The AI in RTW gets too much flak.
