I get emails from an antiquities seller in England. I can't afford any of it but I like to look at the pictures :-) Anyway, he was selling a Roman bronze flask, and I wondered if a larger version couldn't make a decent water container. Its a hard metal so could probably cope with a little banging around you might get in a march. Not break like pottery would, and less likely to be punctured like a waterskin might. Anyway, I wondered why not?
