Torcs were common military decorations, and ring mail was an elite Celtic innovation to begin with. Celtic textiles and patterns would probably have been worn by auxiliary soldiers relying on local supplies, as at Corbridge and Vindolanda (and they may have chosen to wear them anyway).

Celtic brooches before the conquest (certainly in Britain) were very basic, but the question of who wore the Celtic-style Dragonesque brooches of later periods is a very good one.
