Late roman round shields/axes
#1
Hi!
I'd like to ask you,if there is any evidence for the use of round-shaped shields in the late roman army.I know they used it in the cavalry, but unfortunately,i have no script/picture/relief that they used it in the infantry.I really want to make one, buti don't want it with the lack of evidence.
And another question:did they use any type of axes in the infantry,in the 4th or the 5th century?
Thank you for your answers!
